I’ve just begun using this app. I really like the look and feel. Intuitive — and that is how software should be! One teeny, silly suggestion, in the icons it would be nice to have a couple of icons that indicate pets, dog, cat, etc. A more serious suggestion would be that it would be nice to edit payees more thoroughly, as in how they are linked. Overall I like this very much.. and I’m pretty sure future updates will make it even better!

      Hello Bill,

Thank you for the kind words. Welcome aboard.

We have planned on adding more icons in MoneyWiz 2.0 coming in late summer this year. Pets, dog, cat, lizards etc, are on the list, so consider this done, it will just take sometime to get a designer to create those in a nice fashion. About the second suggestion you have made, please provide me with more details on what you mean by sending us an e-mail at support@silverwiz.com I am not sure what you mean by ” how they are linked” – the payees themselves or how they are connected to categories? Thank you once again for the nice words and for taking the time to provide us with a feedback.

Hi, I have been using your app in my iphone for the last 6 months, and I like it very much. However, I recently married (hooray!), and my wife happens to love her android device, so I’d like to know whether you’re planning to develop android support anywhere in the future, it would be amazing.

      Hi Dave,

Congrats, welcome to the world of married :) Yes, we are already working on the Android version. If all goes according to plan, it should be available by the end of the summer this year.

      @Pedro and @Manu,

Pedro, I’m sorry about the update, indeed we planned to release by the end of January. Regrettably, we found many bugs that we need to solve before release. I am sure that you would agree that we better postpone the release rather than risk our users data to be corrupted by a buggy release. I hope you understand that writing software is a tricky business, and it takes a lot of time and effort.

Manu and Pedro, we are almost there and we really hope that this time we will be able to release by the month’s end. Unless we find another serious bug that requires a redesign.

You guys promised the 1.4 update for 3 months ago, delayed until beginning of january. Its february already and no a single word about it. How come you guys are planning the 2.0? Let me guess, it will be released after the olympics in 2016?
    I am really disappointed.

    Hi guys.
    Great app!!!
I’ve switched to Moneywiz after some year with ClearCheckBook (I use the iphone version).
    I’ve 2 wishes for the 2.0 version.
    1) I’d like to enter datas with less touches. For example, when I flag a category, the page should go back to what I’m inserting (I know that you allow us to insert more than 1 category, but…)
    2) I’d like to have already inserted (or recurring) payees suggested as I enter datas

    Thansk again!

      Hi Paolo,

      Thank you for the compliment.

      1) We are thinking of many new way to improve the transaction entry.

      2) This is actually already available. Do you use the auto-completers? If you don’t know what I mean, please send us an e-mail to support@silverwiz.com

Looking forward to new versions, but really want a way to record my personal assets (i.e. house value, jewellery etc) and liabilities (Personal loan, mortgage). Would be great if there was a way to efficiently track pensions / unit trusts / stocks etc. Am having to log this as a cash account and make frequent balance adjustments but this is not great.

      Hi Morgan,

Assets and dedicated native Loans functionality are our main goals for MoneyWiz 2.0 that we will be releasing at the end of the summer (if all goes well). In the meantime, there is still a way to manage those using the existing features in MoneyWiz. Please drop me a line to support@silverwiz.com and I or another team member will provide you with more details on how you can manage your Loans and Assets in MoneyWiz and to what extent.
